Terms of Service

These terms are the agreement between you and Touchbase when you use the website and the calls. By signing up, you agree to them. Questions? Email hello@touchbase.network.

Who can use Touchbase

• You must be 18 or older.
• Your profile must be about you and accurate, including your LinkedIn.
• One account per person.

Student profiles are reviewed before they're matched.

How it works

You tell us your field, your experience and what you're after. We match you with one person a week and book a 20-minute video call at a time you're both free. We can't promise a match every week, and we can't promise any particular outcome from a call, such as a job, a hire or advice that works for you.

House rules

• No pitching. Don't sell your product, services or startup on a call, unless the other person asks.
• Be respectful. No harassment, discrimination or abuse, on calls or anywhere else on Touchbase.
• Show up, or move the call. If a time stops working, reschedule from your dashboard. A call can be moved up to 3 times. Two missed calls pause your matching until you tell us you're back.
• Keep it between the two of you. Don't record a call without the other person's agreement, and don't share their details outside Touchbase without their permission.
• Don't misuse the service. No scraping, spam, fake accounts, or trying to get at other people's data.

If someone breaks these rules on a call with you, tell us in the after-call check-in or by replying to any Touchbase email.

What you write

Your notes and answers stay yours. You let us store them and show them where the product needs to, for example showing your pre-call note to your match.

Our part

Touchbase introduces people. We aren't responsible for what anyone says or does on a call or afterwards, so use your own judgement about what you share and who you meet beyond Touchbase.

We work to keep Touchbase running well, but we provide it as it is, without guarantees that it will always be available or free of errors. As far as the law allows, we're not liable for indirect losses, and our total liability to you is limited to what you've paid us in the last 12 months. Touchbase is currently free, so that's nothing.

Price

Touchbase is free right now. If we ever introduce paid plans, we'll tell you first, and you won't be charged unless you choose one.

Ending

You can stop using Touchbase at any time. Email us and we'll delete your account. We may pause or close an account that breaks these terms, and we'll tell you why.

Changes

We may update these terms. We'll change the date at the top of this page, and email you if a change matters. If you keep using Touchbase after a change, you're agreeing to the new terms.

Law

These terms are governed by the laws of India.
